Founded in 2004, the Group has seen a favourable development trend through organic growth and acquisitions. In 2018, sales exceeded MNOK 746.
We have 280 skilled co-workers and our head office is in Sarpsborg, Norway. In addition, we have local offices in major cities in Norway, Sweden and Denmark. Our two distribution hubs are in Sarpsborg and Tranås, respectively. These had an on-time delivery rate of 99% in 2018.
The Sono Group’s business areas
Our business areas are wardrobes, office and school furniture, racks/shelves for work stations, and warehouse fittings. The products are available through our companies in Norway, Sweden and Denmark.
Proprietary brands
The Sono Group owns the brands Sarpsborg Metall, Sonesson Inredningar,
Form o Miljö, GBP, Alnäs and Tranås Skolmöbler. The Group’s own designers and engineers develop the products, which are then generally crafted by partners in Poland, China and Sweden. Sono Group´s core competence and competitive advantage is development and sourcing of products from an extensive network of several hundred qualified manufacturers in Europe and Asia.
